Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup White Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Quick or Old-Fashioned Oats
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, mix white sugar, brown sugar and butter on medium speed until well mixed.
  • Add the egg and vanilla and continue mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate medium size bowl, stir together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, oats, and chocolate chips. 
  • Keep the mixer on medium-low speed and gradually add the flour mixture to the sugar and butter mixture. Continue mixing until all of the flour is incorporated.
  • Form the dough into small balls.  The dough should be slightly crumbly, but should mold together when you make your balls. Place balls onto an un-greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 F for 8-10 minutes.  Convection: 325 F for 8 minutes.
