Easy Caprese Salad

This salad is simple and perfect for any summer time gathering!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 small tomatoes, chopped, or about 40 cherry tomatoes
  • 4 slices Fresh mozzerella
  • 1 small bunch Fresh basil leaves (about 12 leaves) finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Place the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a medium sized bowl and stir gently to combine and distribute basil evenly.
  2. Mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and whisk until well combined.
  3. Drizzle glaze over salad.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate leftovers for 1-2 days.
