At Nourished Nutrition Counseling, LLC, I (Jenn Bryant) help people renew their lives with optimal nutrition empowered by biblical concepts.
Science tells us the “what“ to do, and the Bible tells us the “how“ and the “why“. This means we often need guidance to sort through all of the nutrition noise out there to find the recommendations that are truly best for our specific body!
My goal is to provide you with many tools to help you be successful in meeting your health goals. I use faith-based principles to help you heal your relationship with food and with your body. Long lasting changes happen when we have the right motivations, cultivate the fruits of the spirit (like peace, patience and self-control), and learn to identify lies we believe. I always provide recommendations based on the most recent scientific research. My counseling and education sessions encourage you to take charge of your nutrition and health. YOU set your own goals. YOU learn how to be successful long-term. With God’s help, you can find success in making changes that last!

My Story
I confess that I have struggled with having a healthy relationship with food. In high school, I was always preoccupied with being skinny. This preoccupation grew into some eating habits and behaviors that were not good for my physical body. I would overeat, under eat, and over-exercise to “undo” the damage I had done. I felt like a slave to food and to my body.
For about 10 years, I struggled intensely with sugar addiction, body image issues, unhealthy dieting, and exercise addiction. I say that I had “disordered eating.” It was not as severe as being diagnosed with an eating disorder, but it was definitely not normal and I was not taking care of myself well. God has rescued my soul and my body in many ways from a very unhealthy relationship with food and for that I am truly thankful.
In college, I decided to learn more about nutrition and how to feed my body in a healthy way and ever since, the LORD has chosen to use me in ways I could have never imagined! I am now a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and I use a Functional Nutrition perspective when working with people. I am passionate about helping people not just be free from disease, but to truly be healthy in body, soul, and mind!
This is where the foundation of our faith in God and our Lord Jesus Christ complete the picture of total health. I endeavor to guide you in helping you identify your issues with food and body and resolve them with truth from God’s word so that you can FIND FREEDOM!
